James H. Wheeler, M.D.
Dr. Wheeler founded the practice in 1979. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Practice. He earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama Medical Center, Birmingham , Alabama. He completed his internship at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles County Hospital. Dr. Wheeler completed residencies in Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, Boston, Massachusetts and in Family Practice at UCLA. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Family Practice and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He is a certified MRO with the American Association of Medical Review Officers. Dr. Wheeler has served as Chairman of the Department of Family Medicine at Northside Hospital. He is a Clinical Instructor Emory University School of Medicine.

C. Steven Schramm, M.D.
Dr. Schramm graduated from Harvard College and then earned his medical degree from Rutgers University, Piscataway, New Jersey. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Practice. Dr. Schramm completed a Family Practice and Residency at the University of South Carolina, Columbia, South Carolina. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Family Practice and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Schramm joined the Family Practice Center in 1987 and became a partner in 1992. He is the former Chief of Northside Hospital’s Family Practice Department. Dr. Schramm has consulted for JMJ Technologies and compiled its first Family Database for an Electronic Medical Record (EMR). In May 2001, Dr. Schramm was nominated for the physicians category for the Georgia Health Care Heroes Awards.

Missy Keith Family Nurse Practitioner, joined Family Practice Center in 1988. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Vanderbilt University and a Master of Nursing degree from Emory University. Missy is board certified by the American Nurse Credentialing Center. |
Heather Brock attended Emory University where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then received her Master of Medical Science and Physician Assistant Certification from Emory. She practiced geriatric medicine for eight years after graduation and has been with Family Practice Center since Spring 2007. |
Kristan Langdon, MSN, RN, ANP-C
Kristan Langdon, MSN, RN, ANP-C, Is a certified Adult Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She received a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Colorado, Boulder in Kinesiology prior to returning to school to pursue a career as a Nurse Practitioner. Kristan graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing and and Magna Cum Laude with a Masters of Science in Nursing, both from Emory University. She has worked clinically in Cardiology and Primary Care, and as an Adjunct Faculty member at the Denver School of Nursing. Kristan has special interest in Preventative Medicine, Women's Health, and Adolescent Health. |
Greg Kibler graduated from The Citadel in 1975. He spent four years in active duty with the United States Navy before attending and graduating from the Physician Assistant Program at the Medical College of Georgia in 1981. He was board certified through the NCCPA and worked with the Department of Kidney Transplantation at Talmadge Hospital before joining Family Practice Center in 1983. |
